12/10/06 For those of you who like "Trivia" here are some interesting facts about the Schoolboys League season so far:
The season kicked off with an under 15 league game on Thursday 7th September in Bellew park where Seatown beat Quay Celtic two nil. Since then there have been 537 fixtures made, 137 games were postponed, 400 games played, and 1,867 goals scored.
Of that total goals scored 993 were scored by the home teams and 874 were scored by the away teams. This means that those who attend games regularly will see on average 4.67 goals per game. The home team show only a slight advantage scoring on average 2.48 goals per game while the away team scores 2.19.
When translated into results the home team won just over 50% of the games with 204 home-wins, while the away-wins amount to 153. There were 43 drawn games only two of which were no-score draws.
10/12/06 The League is closing down for the Christmas and New Year break. Fixtures will resume again early in the New Year. Bay FC wish all their players and supporters a Happy Christmas and look forward to a great 2007.
