In partnership with the American Heart Association and the NWSL‘s league-wide community Nation of Lifesavers™ initiative, Bay FC will be participating in the American Heart Association Heart Walk to expand CPR and AED education and empower people to act in a cardiac emergency. This walk will take place on Thursday, Sep. 24 at 11am in San Francisco’s China Basin Park. Bay FC goalkeeper Emmie Allen is proudly representing the club as a 2026 Nation of Lifesavers ambassador and will be joining the walk.
According to the AHA, 90% of people who suffer cardiac arrest outside of a hospital setting don’t survive and it’s often because no one nearby performs CPR. They want to change that by hosting this 5K Heart Walk to raise money for CPR training and heart research. To learn more about the walk, watch this video from the AHA:
Bay FC is inviting supporters, Season Ticket Members, staff, friends and family to join the Bay FC team. It is free to participate.
