SAN JOSE, Calif. (Sept. 29, 2026) – Bay FC, in partnership with Pebl, announced today that midfielder Claire Hutton and goalkeeper Jordan Silkowitz have been selected as part of the 26-player United States Women’s National team (USWNT) roster for the October international window. Hutton and Silkowitz will be available for selection as the U.S. squad plays a pair of friendlies vs. Spain in Washington, D.C. Oct. 10 and Philadelphia Oct. 13.
Hutton has represented the U.S. in every international window this year, last joining the squad as it traveled to Brazil for friendly action in June. She’s earned nine caps with the senior squad in 2026 with four starts and twice donned the captain’s armband in international play. Hutton has continued her strong first season with Bay FC since her last international call-up, scoring two goals, including the first of her professional career July 5 at Boston Legacy FC. She started a two-goal Bay FC comeback with her most recent tally at Denver Summit FC Sept. 16 and assisted Bay FC’s lone score Sunday vs. Orlando, earning a nomination for NWSL Assist of the Week.
Silkowitz earns her fourth international call-up this year and third career selection to the U.S. senior squad, previously being selected for training and friendlies in November 2025 and in January of this year. She represented the U.S. U-23 side as an overage player in the April and June international windows, taking on top European and South American competition in France and Brazil. She has arguably been the NWSL’s best goalkeeper this season, recording 101 saves and becoming the sixth in league history to log 100 saves in a single regular season, while recording a club record seven clean sheets and ranking third in NWSL in save percentage. She is one of four uncapped players on the camp roster.
Hutton, Silkowitz and the USWNT will take on Spain in a pair of friendlies next month, hosting the reigning FIFA Women’s World Cup winners Oct. 10 from Audi Field in Washington, D.C. (11:30 a.m. PT kickoff on TBS, HBO MAX, Telemundo, Universo, and Peacock), and Oct. 13 from Subaru Park in Chester, Pa. (4 p.m. PT kickoff on TNT, HBO MAX, Universo, Peacock). The matches represent the squad’s final opportunity to fine tune ahead of the 2026 Concacaf W Championship in November and December, which determines which squads from the region qualify for the 2027 FIFA Women’s World Cup in Brazil.
Bay FC plays its final match ahead of the October international break this Saturday as the club visits the Kansas City Current at CPKC Stadium Oct. 3. Kickoff is set for 3:30 p.m. PT, and the match will broadcast live on ION. The club plays its next home match Oct. 18 against Portland Thorns FC, tickets remain available at BayFC.com/tickets.
