Bay FC to Honor Fans During Last Home Match of Inaugural Season on Saturday, October 19

Bay FC is set to host Fan Appreciation Night and recognize Lauren Holiday Impact Award nominee Jen Beattie at halftime

San Francisco (October 17, 2024) Bay FC, the professional soccer franchise representing the Bay Area in the National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL), will show the Club’s appreciation to fans for their support during its Inaugural Season this Saturday, October 19 during Fan Appreciation Night. The club will be taking on the visiting North Carolina Courage at 7 p.m. PDT at PayPal Park as they continue to battle for one of the two final playoff spots.  

Fan Appreciation Night, presented by Bay FC Official Partner Contentstack, will pay homage to the fans who supported the club from the beginning with:  

  • An Inaugural Season Collector’s Series Poster and Rally Towel Giveaway Presented by Contentstack: The first 7,500 fans through the gates will receive a free Inaugural Season Collector’s Series Poster and the first 12,000 fans will receive a free rally towel to help cheer on Bay FC during their last home match.  
  • FanFest: In the FanFest area, select fans will be chosen at random throughout the night to receive surprise giveaways from Bay FC and their corporate partners including gift cards, food and beverage vouchers, merchandise vouchers, swag bags, on-field opportunities, and more. Fans can head to the Spirit Station to create a poster with their favorite inaugural season memory, get their face painted, and more.  
  • Interactive Mural: Bay FC fans will have the opportunity to be part of painting and taking photos with an interactive mural led by the Bay Area Mural Program.  
  • Photo Opportunities: Fans will be able to memorialize the final home match of the season with various photo opportunities, including write-in prompts for what inspired them this season at the Sutter Health station and snapping a picture, and a ‘thank you fans’ player-signed backdrop and balloon arch presented by Contentstack. 
  • Bay FC Partner Activations: Bay FC’s corporate partners will be providing fans with a bevy of giveaways, including:  
    • Face painting and the opportunity for a 360° photo booth picture at Contentstack’s booth 
    • Spin-to-win giveaways at the Trader Joe’s and Meriwest Credit Union booths 
    • Beer sampling and the opportunity to shoot a penalty kick for a prize with 21st Amendment Brewery 
    • Surprise giveaways from additional partners as mentioned above 
  • National Anthem: The National Anthem will be performed by Bay Area native Ysenia Martinez, who performed during Bay FC’s Inaugural Season Home Opener on March 30.  
  • Jen Beattie Halftime Recognition: Bay FC will recognize defender Jen Beattie for her Lauren Holiday Impact Award nomination for her work with breast cancer awareness and prevention and present local Bay Area non-profit Pink Ribbon Good with a monetary donation. Fans who vote for Beattie during the match will receive an extra 10% discount on merchandise.  
  • Halftime Performance and Giveaway: Bay FC fans will also be treated to a performance by all-women’s Māori haka group, Māori Mo Ake Tonu, and three winners, selected at random, will receive grand prize giveaways for the 2025-26 season on-field.  
  • Fan Videoboard Recognitions: Bay FC will recognize its fans for being some of the loudest and most supportive in the NWSL via videoboard recognitions throughout the evening.  
  • Item of the Match: Fans who wish to commemorate not only the evening, but the 2024 Inaugural Season, can purchase an Inaugural Season Collector’s Series Poster.       
  • Post-Match Fan Appreciation: Fans are encouraged to stay after for a special thank you from Bay FC.
