Bay FC’s 2025 season included record-breaking matches, fan-packed nights and a season full of moments the players can’t stop reliving. Before the club turns the page on the 2025 NWSL season, here’s a glimpse at what made it so memorable:
Abby Dahlkemper: “I think my favorite moment of the year would be our home game against L.A. I think it’s always fun to be in state rivals, and I just remember us being able to put on a really dominant performance, and winning at home is always just a pleasure. And I think the fans, regardless, turn up, and that atmosphere was amazing. So, definitely that win at home.”
Caprice Dydasco: “Definitely the Oracle Game. Breaking the record for the NWSL was amazing, and everyone just showing up. Coming back to scoring and almost tying the game at the end was just a moment I’ll always remember, and it was great.”
Maddie Moreau: “For birthdays, we do this thing where we make a tunnel, and we dump water on everybody, and that’s always great because they don’t want to do it, and Rudie’s chasing them, and it makes everyone mad. So, I love that one.”
Hannah Bebar: “Most recently, it’s very niche, but it was when Silky saved the PK, and she turned around and she hyped up the crowd. It was just her emotion—that raw emotion—and the fans’ response to that was so cool to see that connection, just like looking at it on the field from behind.”
Tess Boade: “My favorite memory from this year definitely had to be Fan Appreciation Night. Our last night at PayPal, they were electric and have just been incredible all season, and we can’t wait to see them come for our first game next year.”
When these moments are stitched together, they show a team energized by its fans and committed to building something lasting in the Bay. The 2025 season pushed the club forward in meaningful ways and set a clear intent to come out even stronger next season.
