From September 15 through October 15 and beyond, Bay FC celebrates Latino culture and heritage through numerous events and activities.
Bay FC’s match against Gotham FC on Sept. 21 coincided with Latino Heritage Night at PayPal Park. The festive vibe began well before kickoff, as mariachi bands, lowrider vehicles and various cultural performances set the tone for an evening of celebration, connection, culture and community.
The colorful musical and dance performances throughout the evening complemented a thrilling match, as Racheal Kundananji delivered a game-tying strike in the 68th minute, lifting Bay FC to a 1-1 draw with one of the top clubs in the NWSL this season.

In celebration of Latino Heritage Month, Bay FC collaborated with artist Rose D’Amato for an exclusive merchandise drop at the Sept. 21 match, with 10 percent of the proceeds benefitting the Latina Coalition of Silicon Valley.
Inspired by decorative folk arts, hand-lettering and iconic imagery tied to her upbringing, D’Amato drew from traditional paint styles on lowrider cars to design the lettering for this special edition collection.

As a non-profit, non-partisan organization that cultivates leadership, civic engagement, and empowerment among Latinas in Silicon Valley, the organization aligns directly with Bay FC’s charitable commitment to increasing access and building leaders across the Bay Area.
In the first two seasons of this partnership, Bay FC has distributed more than 500 tickets and offered financial assistance to the Latina Coalition, furthering the organizations’ shared commitment to uplifting the voices and impact of the Latino community.
