Bay FC takes on California foe Angel City FC on Saturday, May 17, at 7:00 p.m. PT at PayPal Park. This match marks the next exciting chapter in the NWSL’s fierce NorCal vs. SoCal regional rivalry. 

Bay FC remains unbeaten against Angel City in NWSL regular season play, securing clean sheets in both 2024 NWSL matches. Asisat Oshoala made history when she scored her debut NWSL goal and Bay FC’s first-ever goal in their inaugural matchup at BMO Stadium, securing the club’s inaugural win as part of their new journey in the NWSL. 

This upcoming clash will feature some of the league’s top talent. Angel City’s Christen Press, a veteran of the U.S. Women’s National Team, returns to the pitch after a two-year injury absence and will face Bay FC for the first time. She’ll be joined by fellow USWNT standouts Alyssa and Gisele Thompson. Bay FC will counter with emerging talent Alyssa Malonson who has recently been called up to USWNT training camps and featured in international friendlies. Bay FC’s Kiki Pickett will also take the pitch as a proven goal scorer with two NWSL Goals of the Week under her belt.
