Bay FC has split their four meetings with Portland Thorns FC evenly, proving they can match the Thorns’ intensity both at home and on the road. In August 2024, defender Abby Dahlkemper made an immediate impact by scoring just minutes into her Bay FC debut. The 2025 season continued this trend of defensive stars stepping up, as Bay FC’s Alyssa Malonson netted her first professional goal to clinch a 1–0 victory at PayPal Park.
