Bay FC (4W-8L-0T; 12 pts) returns to PayPal Park to host Utah Royals FC (1W-10L-1T; 4 pts) at 7:00 p.m. PDT on Sunday, June 16. The match marks the first-ever meeting between the two 2024 NWSL expansion teams.
In stadium, Bay FC is celebrating Pride Night and Father’s Day with special experiences on Sunday, including tailgates, a National Anthem performance by members of the San Francisco Gay Men’s Chorus, and more. Tickets are available here.
Utah has had a slow start to the season thus far, tallying a league-low six goals and dropping 10 of their first 12 matches. Rookie Ally Sentnor, the first pick in the 2024 NWSL draft, has contributed to four of those goals, scoring two and notching two assists.
Sentnor will be a familiar name to the Bay FC defense, as she played soccer at the University of North Carolina with Bay’s Savy King, the number two overall pick in the draft. Sentnor and King both recently played together on the USWNT U-20 team over the international break, but this will be their first meeting on opposite sides of the pitch as professionals.
After two wins in the last three matches, Bay FC will be hoping to continue a strong run of form when going up against Utah. The team has utilized a variety of offensive contributors this season. Ten different players have scored for Bay FC after Kiki Pickett found the net for her first-ever NWSL goal against Chicago.
