History was made when Bay FC faced the Houston Dash in their inaugural home matchup on March 30, 2024. The competition reached a new level on November 2, 2024 when Racheal Kundananji scored her first brace in club history. Since then, the rivalry has remained competitive; Bay FC secured their 11th franchise win against the Dash later in 2024 which secured their NWSL playoff berth in their first season.  Following this was two consecutive 2–2 draws in 2025 (May and August), where Bay FC forward Penelope Hocking found the net in both outings.
