The Sports Performance Center will serve as a hub of development and excellence for players, coaches and football operations staff. The facility will feature three training fields, along with superb facilities and resources, all designed to help team members reach and maintain peak performance.



Groundbreaking Ceremony
On Sept. 18, 2025, Bay FC held a groundbreaking ceremony for its new state-of-the-art Sports Performance Center on Treasure Island. Bay FC’s players, executive leaders and a wide group of project collaborators and community partners joined officials from the City and County of San Francisco for the celebration.

The Sports Performance Center will encompass 8.5 acres. The complex will feature three professional grade soccer fields, along with approximately 22,000 square feet of a state-of-the art training facility designed to support holistic athlete development and performance.
Only the sporting side of the club (i.e. players, coaches, trainers, etc.) will commute to and from the Sports Performance Center for work, and events are not foreseen at this time that would materially impact traffic.
The Sports Performance Center is privately funded. The project involved collaboration with the City and County of San Francisco and the Treasure Island Development Authority, as part of Treasure Island’s ongoing revitalization, but it is financed by Bay FC.
