Pride-themed performances, community activations, and the in-stadium debut of the 2026 Pride Collection will celebrate the LGBTQ+ community
SAN FRANCISCO (May 21, 2026) – Bay FC today announced an action-packed Pride Match on Sunday, May 24 at 2:00 p.m. PT, when the club takes on the Chicago Stars at PayPal Park. From the time gates open to the final whistle, Bay FC will host matchday programming celebrating the Bay Area’s vibrant, inclusive, and diverse LGBTQ+ community.
Fans attending Sunday’s Pride Match will be the first to shop the 2026 Pride Collection in person. The club’s third annual Pride Collection carries a clear and singular message across all styles: Everyone Is Welcome Here. Ten percent of net proceeds from in-stadium sales of the collection on Sunday, in addition to online sales throughout June, will benefit the San Francisco Gay Men’s Chorus, the world’s first openly gay chorus and a nonprofit organization dedicated to building community through music and performance. Bay FC Pride Match
Sunday marks Bay FC’s annual Pride Match, spotlighting inclusion and the LGBTQ+ community across the Bay Area. Kickoff is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. PT, with gates opening at 12:00 p.m. PT. Fans are encouraged to arrive early to enjoy pre-match festivities, including:
Lighting up the Bridge: Bay FC will welcome Dykes on Bikes in celebration of the organization’s 50th anniversary, who will light up the Bay FC Bridge to open the match.
FanFest Performance: Fans are invited to enjoy a drag show featuring drag performers from across the Bay Area, celebrating creativity, self-expression, and community.
FanFest: The FanFest area will feature a Spirit Station highlighting Pride and LGBTQ+ community history, face painting, and a Pride-themed photo backdrop.
In-Stadium Host: FanFest host and longtime Bay FC supporter Amanda Ehrhardt will serve as the in-stadium host throughout the match.
RE Football Loves You Tee Shirt Activation: Bay FC is bringing the sparkle to Pride Match in partnership with RE, a global sports media brand led by USWNT champions Tobin Heath and Christen Press, which aims to better the world through the unifying power of sport. During FanFest, supporters and REimaginers can customize and decorate their own tee shirts. Fans can purchase a Bay FC x RE tee shirt on site or bring one of their own to participate. National Anthem: The San Francisco Gay Men’s Chorus will perform the National Anthem prior to kickoff.

Collection of the Match: The 2026 Pride Collection will be featured as the Collection of the Match, with ten percent of net proceeds benefiting the San Francisco Gay Men’s Chorus.
About the 2026 Pride Collection
Designed by Bay FC’s creative team, the seven-piece collection features a range of styles, offering fans multiple ways to support and represent the club ahead of Pride Month. Colors from across the LGBTQ+ flag are included throughout the collection, highlighting Bay FC’s ongoing commitment to inclusion and representation. On the back of the hoodie and tee shirts, the design features a soccer pitch surrounded by multicolored dots representing the fans from across the Bay Area who show up all season long. This year also marks the first time Bay FC has produced a Pride scarf, blending the vibrant colors of the Pride community with one of soccer’s most popular traditions.
