Get to Know the Bay FC Supporter Group Bridge Brigade

What are Bay FC Supporter Groups?

Upon first glance, Bay FC players are the only ones fighting for the win in a soccer match. But when you look closer, you’ll notice another presence supplying some stamina. Behind every tackle, goal and play is the pulse of our Bay FC supporter groups. They are the invisible muscle making an impact on and off the field.

Supporter Groups are indispensable players on the unofficial Bay FC roster. They amplify moments of brilliance, like when Karlie Lema finds the back of the net with her beautiful strike or when Abby Dahlkemper delivers a last-minute tackle to ensure the clean sheet. You will find them in sections 117-118 at PayPal Park for 90 minutes swinging their flags and banging drums for Bay FC. Beyond their praises, Supporter Groups are the link that connects soccer fans from every corner of the Bay Area. They represent a love for the game by creating an inclusive environment where everyone feels welcome to watch Bay FC matches.

WHo are the members of Bridge Brigade?

Bridge Brigade is a passionate community that celebrates the women’s soccer movement in the Bay Area. They began with a shared love for the same team and have grown into a tight-knit network of found family. The community was formed as an independent Bay FC supporter group and their mission extends further than their support on matchday. Outside of matchdays, Bridge Brigade stays connected through a combination of online and in-person engagement. They maintain an active presence on their Discord server, regularly organize meetups and participate in various community events to keep the Bay FC spirit alive year-round. Additionally, while many Bridge Brigade members gather in the supporter section at PayPal Park, they also have members across the U.S. who support Bay FC.

Bridge Brigade promotes community welfare through inclusivity, equality and respect for all fans. They are distinguished for their loyalty and creating a welcoming atmosphere for those eager to take part in Bay FC’s success story. Whether swinging a flag at PayPal Park or hosting a Bay FC Watch Party for away matches, Bridge Brigade consistently shows up with pure enthusiasm. Bridge Brigade’s Watch Parties are their way of carrying the Bay FC energy beyond the PayPal Park stadium during Bay FC’s away matches. When not at the Supporter Section at PayPal Park, they will typically host Watch Parties at Standard Deviant, Jack’s Bar and 21st Amendment for fans to come, connect and have fun.

One of Bridge Brigade’s best moments occurred during Bay FC’s debut season in 2024 when they took on Chicago Stars FC at PayPal Park. Their chants were so loud that Chicago’s Mallory Swanson couldn’t hear the referee’s whistle during a free kick and missed the shot.
