Expect to see lineup adjustments from Bay FC, as midfielder Alex Loera was injured on April 20 against Kansas City Current and will miss the remainder of the season. Bay FC has had at least one new goal-scorer in each match of the 2024 NWSL season, with Tess Boade adding to the tally most recently against Kansas City.
On April 20, San Diego made waves throughout the NWSL when they acquired Mexican National Team star María Sánchez from the Houston Dash. They’ve scored just two goals in their 2024 NWSL campaign thus far, and Bay FC will look to continue to contain that attack.
