NWSL Save of the Week: Goalkeeper Jordan Silkowitz
Following Bay FC’s opening goal, San Diego Wave was awarded a penalty in the 15th minute after a foul by defender Aldana Cometti in the box. Silkowitz got a hand on San Diego Wave’s Kenza Dali’s spot kick and parried it off the post and away. This marked Silkowitz’s third penalty save of her NWSL career.
After tying the NWSL single-match record with 12 saves in New Jersey on April 25, she tallied six more saves on Sunday in San Diego, and in the process surpassed the 100 career saves milestone.

NWSL Assist of the Week: Midfielder Taylor Huff
Bay FC’s opening goal came early in the fifth minute of the first half. The sequence started with a recovery by midfielder Claire Hutton, who helped get Bay FC moving forward quickly. Hutton found Huff in stride, and Huff’s through ball to forward Racheal Kundananji was perfectly weighted.
The striker finished with a one-touch effort through the keeper’s legs—her first goal of the 2026 NWSL season—and the fastest goal in Bay FC’s club history.
