In June, Bay FC partnered with Design FC at Trace Elementary School in San Jose. This nonprofit uses soccer and design to empower young people through custom kit projects and hands‑on workshops. During the session, 24 students in grades 3‑5 designed and customized their own jerseys. They were joined by Bay FC Defender Anouk Denton and 2Bay FC Co‑Founder Danielle Slaton, who helped make their ideas a reality, shared words of encouragement, and helped with the heat‑pressing process. The day ended with surprising students with their own Bay FC swag.
This was not the first time Bay FC partnered with Design FC. Long‑time fans might remember that goalkeeper Jordan Silkowitz and forward Keira Barry joined the Boys & Girls Clubs of San Francisco to help youth participants create their own kits for the Players of Tomorrow all‑girls soccer league in March 2026. Before that, forward Racheal Kundananji collaborated with Design FC and Soccer Without Borders, an Oakland-based nonprofit, last August to create a vibrant jersey celebrating soccer and friendship across nations and borders.
