Bay FC and Meriwest Credit Union partnered to host a special evening of art and soccer at the Triton Museum of Art in Santa Clara on Thursday, July 30.
One hundred Meriwest members were treated to an exclusive look at the “Fútbol: The Art of the Game” exhibition, co-hosted by the City of Santa Clara, to celebrate the global summer soccer tournament. This group show included pieces by artists from across the Bay Area working across media and served as a fundraiser for the museum.
After viewing the art on display, guests joined Bay FC players – including midfielder Dorian Bailey, defender Alyssa Malonson, and defender Maddie Moreau – for a panel discussion about their journeys, support systems, creativity, and the mentors who helped shape their careers. They then met fans and signed autographs.
Talk about a wonderful evening celebrating the intersection of soccer, art, and community.
