Just In: Vote Silkowitz for NWSL Player and Save of the Week

No surprises here! Currently leading the league with 84 saves and tied for fourth with 6 shutouts, Bay FC’s goalkeeper Jordan Silkowitz is up for not one, but two NWSL nominations: Player of the Week and Save of the Week. This follows an impressive home match where she repeatedly fended off Houston Dash with 10 saves on Sunday, earning the club’s sixth clean sheet of the year.

Head Coach Emma Coates agrees: “I think we needed today, if I’m honest, three points on the board, clean sheet. I think the latest goal we’ve scored this season. Sometimes attacks win games, sometimes defense and goalkeepers win games. And I just want to shout out Silky today. I thought she was, I thought she was world class for us.”
