Bay FC and Visa
In March 2024, Bay FC and Visa launched a partnership rooted in shared values and responsibilities – to influence change and impact equity and access in the game of soccer. Core to the partnership is direct financial investment in local youth and Bay FC current players, putting an emphasis on financial equity, leadership and education, and improving communities throughout the Bay Area. This partnership is a small step towards tackling the systemic challenges faced by female athletes and women in sports.

Thanks to Visa, Bay FC also donated soccer equipment and apparel to the youth players. Through in-school, after-school, weekend, and summer programs, Soccer Without Borders Bay Area (formerly known as SWB Oakland) is a crucial resource to newcomer refugee and immigrant youth across Alameda and San Francisco Counties.
