Asisat Oshoala scored Bay’s first playoff goal in the 83rd minute, though Washington’s Tara Mckeown equalized in the 86th minute to take the match to extra time. The Spirit took the lead in the first half of extra time and Bay was unable to counter, despite pushing until the final whistle.
