Bay FC hosts Portland Thorns FC on Saturday, June 7 at 4:30 p.m. PT at PayPal Park to celebrate Pride Night. In honor of our pride celebration, the first 3,000 fans at PayPal Park will receive an exclusive Bay FC Pride bandana designed by artist Orlie K. As a queer artist and proud Bay FC supporter, Orlie K. honors the strength, beauty, and resilience of the 2SLGBTQAI+ community both on and off the pitch with this Pride collaboration.  

Bay FC’s match against Portland will be their first regular season meeting in 2025. Last year, the two sides faced off on August 30, 2024, at Providence Park, where Abby Dahlkemper made a memorable debut by scoring her first goal for Bay FC. Joelle Anderson also added to the scoresheet in a commanding 3-1 victory. Earlier in the 2024 season, the Thorns edged out a 3-2 win in a tightly contested match at PayPal Park.  

Saturday’s match features no shortage of talent on both sides. Bay FC’s Caroline Conti has proven to be a very tactical player and has notched one goal and two assists in five matches. Karlie Lema will also step up to the pitch with two goals and eight matches under her belt in her rookie season.  

Portland is led by midfielder Sam Coffey, who has two goals and one assist this 2025 season. Coffey is joined by rising star Olivia Moultrie who has one goal and one assist in the 2025 season, following an impressive 2024 season where she tallied five goals. She remains the youngest player on the Thorns.
