Bay FC secured a 2–1 victory thanks to a dominant first-half performance, with Alex Pfeiffer proving to be a standout player from the opening stages.

Pfeiffer wasted no time making her mark, breaking the deadlock in the 7th minute with a finish. The attacker drove down the right flank before cutting inside and converting with her left foot, giving Bay FC an early lead.

Denver pulled level through Melissa Kösser in the 19th minute, briefly threatening to shift the momentum, but Bay FC responded quickly. Just eleven minutes later, Pfeiffer teed up Joelle Anderson for a left-footed finish from the middle to restore Bay FC’s advantage in the 30th minute.

In the second half, neither side were able to find the net as Bay FC held firm to claim all three points. The win was further bolstered by the Bay FC debuts of Anouk Dentok and Keira Barry.
