Bay FC Hosts Youth Media Day at Training on Saturday, April 6

Local Bay Area youth reporters will learn from a local journalist and interview head coach Albertin Montoya and players at San Jose State University training facility  

San Francisco (April 4, 2024) Bay FC, the new women’s professional soccer franchise representing the Bay Area in the National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL), will host five local youth reporters in partnership with Sutter Health, for Youth Media Day at Bay FC training from 10 – 11 a.m. PT this Saturday, April 6.  

Youth Media Day will provide the young professionals with the opportunity to learn about sports media from NBC Sports Bay Area Journalist Anthony Flores, interview Bay FC Head Coach Albertin Montoya, as well as Bay FC players before training. Participants will also be able to capture content for their own traditional and social media accounts.  

“Providing opportunities to learn firsthand from local professionals as well as giving young fans access to our coaching staff and players is core to what we are about,” said Bay FC CEO Brady Stewart. “We are constantly looking for opportunities to give back to our local communities and empower our future leaders.”
