As a global leader in digital payments, Visa has partnered with Bay FC as the club’s Official Payment Services Provider, a proud kit sponsor, and serves as the presenting partner for Latino Heritage Night. At the heart of the partnership is direct financial investment in local youth and current Bay FC players, with a focus on financial equity, leadership, education, and community development across the Bay Area. This includes supporting Bay FC’s launch of an all-girls soccer league as part of Bay FC’s partnership with Boys & Girls Clubs of San Francisco. With Visa’s support, Bay FC’s partnership with Boys & Girls Clubs of San Francisco for Latino Heritage Night is part of a broader effort to address challenges identified in recent research, which found that young and teenage Latina girls across the Bay Area participate in soccer at lower rates than their peers. As part of Sunday’s match, Bay FC and Visa will host Boys & Girls Clubs of San Francisco members for an elevated VIP match day experience.
Visa also played a pivotal role in Bay FC making history, serving as the official sponsor of The Show at Oracle Park, where Bay FC set an all-time attendance record for the largest crowd at a professional women’s sporting event on August 23, 2025, drawing 40,091 fans to Oracle Park.
“Visa’s commitment to Bay FC, promoting gender equity, and growing soccer across the Bay Area has been a game changer for our club and our growth,” said Bay FC CEO Brady Stewart. “This partnership doesn’t just empower our current players—it sets the stage for future talent to succeed on a level playing field. Together, we’re not just talking about change and making history—we’re actually making it happen.”
