SAN JOSE, Calif. (Oct. 27, 2026) – The National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL) announced today that Bay FC goalkeeper Jordan Silkowitz‘s 34th minute save at Angel City FC Saturday, Oct. 24 has been voted the Week 26 Suntouchable Save of the Week presented by e.l.f. Cosmetics.
A lunging effort denied a shot from distance by the SoCal club, keeping the scoreline even as halftime approached. It was one of Silkowitz’s six saves for the match, bringing her season total to 114, the second most in the NWSL this season and second-most by a goalkeeper in a single season in league history. It’s Silkowitz’s second Save of the Week award win this season.
The Fairfax, Virginia native’s effort was selected by fan vote through NWSL social media channels. Silkowitz has been nominated ten times for Save of the Week this season, previously taking home the Week Six honor amid a stretch of four nominations in as many weeks. In 2025, Silkowitz earned a league-leading 12 nominations for Save of the Week, winning the vote on four occasions.
