As Bay FC heads into this international break friendly, the team currently sits 10th in the NWSL standings with a 2-2-0 record. After a strong road win against North Carolina in late March, the squad is looking to regain momentum following a 2-0 loss against the Washington Spirit.
With 6 goals scored over 4 matches, the offense has shown it can be clinical, but this friendly against Ottawa is an opportunity for Head Coach Emma Coates to fine-tune the tactical setup and solidify the backline before the team travels to face Gotham FC on April 25.

Karlie Lema
A Morgan Hill native and former Cal standout, Lema wasted no time making an impression during her 2025 rookie campaign. Her 2025 performance, highlighted by two goals and an assist, earned her multiple call-ups to the U.S. U-23 Women’s National Team training camps and friendlies in Europe.
Hannah Bebar
Following a successful collegiate career at Harvard and Duke, Bebar established herself as a force in the midfield during the 2025 season. She logged over 1,000 minutes across 17 matches (12 starts) and recorded her first professional assist against Gotham FC. She was selected as a training player for the U.S. Women’s National Team during the 2025 SheBelieves Cup.
