B Empowered Presented by PNC Bank

Bay FC and Founding Partner PNC Bank announced Bay FC’s donation of $25,000 in grant funding to La Cocina. The donation stems from Bay FC’s “Goals for Grants” powered by PNC in which the team committed to donating $1,000 – up to $25,000 – for every Bay FC goal scored this season. “Goals for Grants” is part of the “B Empowered” platform sponsored by PNC Bank and designed to help Bay Area entrepreneurs achieve their personal and professional financial goals.

A San Francisco-based non-profit, La Cocina’s mission is to advance equity in business ownership for women, immigrants, and people of color. La Cocina was selected for its efforts in supporting food entrepreneurs, guiding them from early start-up stages to long-term growth. The donation will support La Cocina programs that provide hands-on guidance, practical financial tools, and mentorship, while PNC leverages its expertise to expand access to capital and help La Cocina participants build sustainable businesses.
