Bay FC came back from a two-goal deficit in the second half to earn a 2-2 draw with Denver Summit FC on Wednesday, Sept. 16, at Centennial Stadium in Centennial, Colo. Taylor Huff scored the match-tying goal in second half stoppage time, sneaking the ball through the Denver goalkeeper’s legs. The 95^th minute score was the latest goal in Bay FC history, and it was also Huff’s second scoring contribution of the game after she assisted Claire Hutton’s goal in the 73^rd minute. Denver went into halftime with a 1-0 advantage after Lindsey Heaps scored in the final moments before the break, and Janine Sonis doubled the advantage in the 57^th minute. Had it not been for a valiant effort from Bay FC goalkeeper Jordan Silkowitz, Denver could have scored more, but Silkowitz finished with seven saves, including multiple stops in one-on-one situations, and she kept her team in the match long enough for the club to put together a dramatic comeback.
