SAN FRANCISCO (Oct. 29, 2026) – This Sunday, Nov. 1, Bay FC will close out the 2026 NWSL season with its Fan Appreciation Match, presented by Visa, celebrating the dedicated supporters that have cheered on the club all season long. Special activities, recognitions, giveaways and more will put the club’s fans in the spotlight as San Diego Wave FC visits the Bay Area for the final match of the year. Kickoff set for 2 p.m. PT, and tickets remain available at BayFC.com/tickets.
Fan Appreciation Celebrations will kick off when gates open to the public at 12 p.m., including:
- Commemorative Ticket Giveaway: The first 10,000 fans in attendance will receive a commemorative ticket celebrating the 2026 season. Fans are encouraged to come early, as the first 1,000 items will be signed by select Bay FC players.
- Pre-Match Address: Ahead of kickoff, a special pre-match address will thank and acknowledge the fans and their steadfast support throughout the club’s third season.
- Special Experiences on Tap: Fans in FanFest will be randomly selected to be a part of pre-match procession leading to the national anthem performance and kickoff.
- Scavenger Hunt: Fans in-stadium will have the chance to win exclusive prizes includnig merch discounts, food & beverage vouchers, and free tickets to a 2027 home match. Clues will guide fans on their hunt to find select QR codes around the stadium to redeem prizes.
- Special Partner Prizes: Fans will have the chance to win gift cards from Lyft, Visa, and Trader Joe’s, as well as other surprise prizes throughout the stadium on matchday.
- Halftime Fan Competition: A special competition on the pitch at halftime will pit select fans against each other to win a luxury suite experience, courtesy of Visa, at a to-be-determined 2027 home match.
- Post-Match thank you and autographs: Bay FC players will speak following the final whistle and post-match huddle to thank fans for their support throughout the season and give out autographed items throughout the stadium.
Other matchday activations, activities and partner experiences throughout the stadium will also be available, including:
- Take a shot at the Meriwest inflatable goal in FanFest to win cobranded stress balls, foam fingers and other giveaways, presented by Meriwest Credit Union.
- Spin to Win prizes including a co-branded sleep mask and other giveaway items from San José Mineta International Airport
- Wine tastings at Scoreboard and Field Club bar locations, courtesy of J Vineyards (ages 21+ only)
- Spin-to-Win your favorite snacks in FanFest, courtesy of Trader Joe’s.
Bay FC’s match Sunday vs. San Diego Wave FC will broadcast live on ESPN+, with kickoff scheduled for 2 p.m. PT. The match is part of the NWSL’s Decision Day slate, determining final seeding for the 2026 NWSL Playoffs, presented by Google Pixel. Bay FC will have the chance to directly impact the NWSL Shield race and playoff positioning with San Diego in contention for the top spot in the table entering the final matchweek.
