What to Watch on the Pitch
After a brief stint on the road in a match against Washington Spirit, resulting in a 1-0 loss, Bay FC returns to the West Coast to host Kansas City Current at PayPal Park on Friday, Sept. 4. This is the first match between the two clubs this season — they most recently met around this time last year on Saturday, Sept. 6. Some players to look out for include Kansas City’s forward Temwa Chawinga, the two-time NWSL MVP from Malawi, and Bay FC’s defender Emily Menges, who was just activated from maternity leave.
