What to Watch on the Pitch
After two straight games on the road, Bay FC returns home to close out their season series with Racing Louisville FC on Sunday, Sept. 20. Bay FC will be coming off a dramatic comeback that resulted in a 2-2 midweek draw at Denver Summit FC in which the club scored twice in the final 25 minutes of play, including a 95th minute score from midfielder Taylor Huff, to earn a point on the road.
Bay FC wants to keep that momentum rolling into Sunday’s match, where they’ll be looking to complete the season sweep of Racing Louisville FC. In this season’s first head-to-head matchup between the two teams on Friday, July 10, Bay FC posted a 2-0 victory with goals from midfielder Kennedy Fuller and forward Karlie Lema. Always a threat to put pressure on the defense, Lema has been especially dangerous against Louisville, having scored in of two of her three career matches vs. Louisville.
