Bay FC is hosting its first-ever Hip Hop Night at a match against Gotham FC on Wednesday, July 29. This event will be filled with Bay Area only moments and what’s bound to be a memorable game against the reigning NWSL champions.

The first 4,000 fans who enter the stadium can pick up a Bay FC Hip Hop Night poster featuring Mistah F.A.B. At FanFest, enjoy live music, dancing and more as well as activities like face painting and giveaways.
6:10 P.M. | TEAM WARMUPS
Head to your seats to watch both clubs in pre-match drills on the pitch.
6:40 P.M. | PRE-MATCH CEREMONY
Vocalist Alisah Bonaobra will perform the national anthem before kickoff.
7:00 P.M. | KICKOFF
The Bay FC vs. Gotham FC match will commence.
Pre-Match & Halftime
When gates open at PayPal Park, be there early to secure one of 4,000 Bay FC Hip Hop Night posters featuring Mistah F.A.B. FanFest will feature entertainment by Prospect Band, which is made up of members Tommy Shepherd III and Kali de Jesus, and the Fallon Middle School Hip Hop Dance Team. There will be lowriders from Blvd Bombs Car Club and breakdancers from TURFinc as well as the FanFest activities like soccer-themed games, face painting and giveaways for the whole family.
The national anthem will be performed by vocalist Alisah Bonaobra, a runner-up on the second season of The Voice of the Philippines.
At halftime, Oakland talent takes center stage: Mistah F.A.B. will perform for the crowd at the DJ stand, while breakdancers from TURFinc will grace the Bay FC Bridge Stage.
What to Watch on the Pitch
Bay FC’s two-game winning streak ended on Friday, July 24 at Houston Dash, concluding in a 1‑0 score. After 90 minutes of no scoring, an unlucky deflection saw the winner cross the line for the hosts. This marks the end of the first half of the season, with 15 matches left.
On Wednesday, July 29, Bay FC will be closing out the season series with Gotham FC. Back in April, Bay suffered a 3-0 loss in New Jersey. Despite the lopsided result, goalkeeper Jordan Silkowitz tied what was a Bay FC franchise record with 12 saves in the match. (She had an impressive series of saves on Friday as well.)
